New season starts tomorrow!

The 26th season starts with our first rehearsal tomorrow evening, Monday, September 9 at 7:30 pm. Please consider coming early (Rich usually gets to TMH by 6:45 pm) to greet friends and start to help set up. We want to lend a hand to our percussion friends as well, to help them bring equipment from downstairs (I have confirmation from Tom Thayer that all of it is downstairs, not in the Annex).

As I usually do, I intend to read through the entire concert program tomorrow night. I believe it’s very important to “lay it all out” for you so there are no surprises along the way. Personally, I hate the “This week we’re adding this,” and “Oh, I forgot my brother-in-law’s favorite march is this, so I’m adding it,” sort of thing. I like WYSIWYG at first rehearsals.

We’ll talk more about the season, our guests, our featured works, and more tomorrow evening. I’m excited to see you all again for my 6th season with WSW!
